Just came back from Melaka with my dearest darling...

had a great time with her there...

All of the wonderful memories there will be part of our history for reminiscence....

The first test for this semester is coming up next monday... FMS quiz...

Feel like as if i can't make it coz lately i have been pretty slack and complacent...

Come on... buck up man!!

Freaking pissed of whenever i thought about that....

Anyway.... recently i have been thinking of getting a DSLR for myself...

or should i just get a compact camera?

After i got my Iphone.... which i had dreamed for long long time...

Now, my dream is about getting a DSLR and a Macbook...Pro...... LOL!

Feel like as if i am becoming more and more materialistic.... huh? XD

Anyway... this week is my e-learning week....

no school... but got lots of things to be done....

Beef up!!!

Finally, after 7 weeks of long long holiday,

my semester 2 in NP starts again!!!!!

Well, i wouldn't say it's a very very much anticipated thing for me,

but i would say, it's time to get my life back to the normal track....

So, this semester i will be doing 1.1,

and having 7 modules which includes 2 IS,

namely, Microeconomics (MIEC), Business Communication (BCOM), IT in Business (ITB), Business Management (BMGT), Finacial Market and Services (FMS), Creative and Applied Thinking Skills (CATS), and Sports and Wellness (S&W).....

We assumed and heard that MIEC is much more dull than MAEC but easier to score,

however, it turns out that most of us are stunned when doing the first tutorial homework for MIEC.... -.-

For BCOM, we had already heard about it's "dullness" long time ago,

and i would say everybody hates BCOM.... Well, the experience for BCOM to me so far is..... a dull module with a fair tutor..... when i say "fair", means that yet to be concluded......

But one thing for sure is BCOM is something like english lesson, so can expect some Chimglish in the class...... OMG

For ITB, for god's sake, a freaking boring module with a freaking lame lecturer....

BMGT, a pretty ok module but with an old lecturer who claim that she had taught in NP for more than 30 years.....

FMS!!! Finally, got to study for a module that is related to my Diploma..... the first lecture seems to be quite ok.... not too chim yet and still acceptable....

CATS.... well, i used to have phobia towards this module, because first, i am not a very creative person, secondly, i had heard lots and lots of sad story about how this IS module screwed up their perfect GPA..... However, after meeting my tutor for CATS, my phobia had somehow fade off a bit..... The tutor seems to be a nice guy and... yeah.... i hope he is kind in terms of marking....

As for S&W, not much story to say but i chose soccer.... the coach seems to be a...... ok, yet to find a suitable adjective for him.... will tell you later..... LOL

As you all know that, i had been doing part time job during the holiday,

so i haven't been hitting the gym for like 2 months!!!!
That makes my muscle shrunk!!!! Arrrrggghhhhhh......

So, to compensate the time i had sacrificed to the part time job,

i had bought 2 big tub or is actually medium tub of whey protein to beef up myself!!!!

Well, to be frank, it's not cheap to buy that 2 tub of protein powder since i am not very rich.....

and also i will need a shaker bottle to mix the protein....

But i would say it worth it.....

I can grow much faster than without protein powder.....

and now, i am reporting to the gym at least thrice a week!!!!

Hopes to see the results in one month!!!!

p/s : Still thinks that things in GNC are overpriced a lot, but i still bought it.... how stupid i am!?!?!

First baking experience

In the past few days, my whole day was not in the best way that it could be....
I was sick.... and i am still sick now...... even though it's much better now....

So today, i decided to spend my day in a little bit more meaningful way....
I decided to bake a cake..... even though i plan to do so yesterday but didn't manage to do so due to laziness.....
So, since it's my first time to bake a cake.....
i decided to start off with something easier for me.... as a rookie....
It's a Coconut Steam Cake...... (椰香蒸蛋糕)
It's quite a delicious cake..... at least when my mum bake it.....
So, when it's my turn do bake it..... Not sure will it still be as delicious as what my mum did....
So, let's check it out~~~

OK.... first, i went out to buy coconut milk that is the most important thing in baking this cake....
So, i bought one coconut milk and place it in the pot and boil it.....until it slightly thicken up.....

From this to -------------------------------> This....

Ok, the next thing is prepare the egg and sugar and flour....
I need 6 eggs and 250g of sugar and 200g of flour....


After that, we will need to beat the eggs and the sugar until it raise......

From this, beat until ----------------> this....

Next, we will need to add in the flour spoon by spoon.....
Don't ask me why, that's what my mum told me.....hahaha



And then, we will need to portion it into 3 portion....
And the first portion, i make it into coffee flavor by adding in concentrated coffee mix....
The second portion, i remain in the original color with vanilla flavor, (even though in the end, i can't even get a bit of vanilla fragrance....)
The third portion, i make it into pandan flavor with apple green color..... (same as the vanilla....can't smell the fragrance as well) hahaha

Then, we will put the first portion into the steamer to steam for 10 minutes.....


And then, the second portion..... and the third......


And, YEAH!!! ITS DONE!!!


Ok.... I would not say it's a tremendous success....
But, at least it's not a failure..... hahaha....
The layer suppose to be taller each.... but i used the wrong container to steam which is bigger in size.... So, it turns out to be bigger but shorter..... and the green color is a bit too much..... and the layers suppose to be more balance.....
And the cake is a bit dry.... other than that.... my mum say is perfectly ok...... hehehe

Oh ya.... you must be asking me, what's the black black tiny thing in the cake....
ok.... it's the "fillings"....
Well.... you can choose not to put any.... but i decided to make it more special....
So, i put nuts (almond, walnut and pine seeds) in the lower most coffee flavored layer,
and prunes in the middle Vanilla flavored layer....
And, raisins and dried cranberries in the top most pandan flavored layer.....
It's LOVELY....isn't it? LOL

Looking forward to bake the next cake..... perhaps tomorrow? =)

Happy and contented...... for now.....

Today i went to work as usual,
i went to work alone since WK not working today,
so i left home around 8am,
and the train takes me around 50 minutes to reach CityHall,
so i take out my novel and started to continue the thrilling story.....
While reading the novel, i was completely unaware that today is the big day, results release....
Even though i just told my mum about it yesterday,
but today morning i was completely forget about it.....

Suddenly, my phone vibrates..... i thought was a phone call.....
and i check, is a message with the sender of 5 digit number....
I thought it was yet another advertisement from the stupid Singtel and so i just simply look for half a second.....
However, unlike the usual ads that Singtel will send us which is long long long message,
this message is very short and i was a bit confused about its message,
i don't know really know what is it about.....
Just before i delete it, i read it again and now, i saw some clue.....
something NP> BLAW......
Then i suddenly realise this is the message from school!!!!
My results are out!!!!

I read through my results hoping not to see any B from it.....
And YEAH!!!! there is not even a single B there!!!! Hooray!!!!
The results is actually some what that i had hoped to get.....
and a bit more than that.....
I always hope to get an A.... but to my surprise..... i got a few AD as well!!!!

Business Statistics [BSTATS] : A+ (Hope to get AD but got an A+ instead, nevertheless, Thank you Mr Jonas)

Macroeconomics [MAEC] : AD (Dream comes true for MAEC, Thanks Mrs. NG... You are the best tutor and the best advisor in NP..... cheers!!!)

Principle Of Accounting [POA] : AD (Hope to get an AD and dream comes true.....)




Anyway, this is just the first semester and i will have to work harder to maintain......

Working in Mandarin Oriental Hotel

About 2 weeks ago, Sheng Le introduce us to a HR company which will gives us a job in a hotel,
and so we went to register and wait for the reply....
After a few days, the HR texts us and say we will be working with Mandarin Oriental Hotel....
Immediately i was stunned.....WTH....
Because my uncle also works in MO,
but of course, much higher rank.....
even higher than the highest ranked GM in MO Singapore since he is the director......

Anyway, yesterday was my second day working at MO,
and i worked for bloody 15 hours!!!!!
From 10am right up to 1.30am....... almost dying.....
And what make things worse is the night function is an OC takes place in Esplanade....
We are having a cocktail and dinner for IWC......
and those who attend are those "got head got face" people.....
Our boss takes this very very seriously.....
we even do a few rehearsal..... and keep on briefing and briefing......
Because 1 pax cost SGD 280......
Listen carefully, not 1 table, is 1 pax......
And of course, the menu is also freaking premium......
truffle.... alaskan king crab..... Rissoto..... and some other high class thingy......
and we have nearly 50 people serving 15 tables......

And..... He talked to me!!!! OMG!!!!
I must he looks much better and younger than on screen......
And his live singing was FABULOUS!!!!

as well as Japan and Korea......
The guests are from all over the world......

I must say it's a fantastic night......
Even though i work like a..... bull???
Whatever it is..... cut the crap......
It's a great night because i am able to see Ronan, one of my idol.....
Phew~~~

Comex 2009

After 4 days of HARD WORK, my job in Comex is finally done.....
Well, i worked as a.....part timer? promoter? salesman?
Whatever you name it, but i am working for Dell distributor and selling Dell Laptops and desktops.
And after working in the Comex show, then i know how tough it is to sell...

I would say it's a extremely tiring job, because you got to stand for more than 12 hours per day, not including stand in MRT... =.="
and the pay is..... very little.... at least that's for my company,
i was wondering what's the reason,
as in i work for the biggest computer and accessories company in Singapore, newstead,
but since it has different booth selling different brand of laptops,
all of the brands give different pay to you....
and unfortunately, i work for the Dell which pay you the least,
and sell the least.....
Anyway, i would say that it's a great and wonderful experience,
i was always thinking that i am somehow be a good salesman, since i can talk well,
but the things turned out that sales isn't just about talking,
it's also about observing and of course, luck.....
I sold 19 laptop and desktops in 4 days,
which i can say is above average for the sales result in my booth.

During the first day when the show starts,
when i entertain the first customer,
i was really nervous like shit....
but, later on, without noticing,
i actually get used to it and get to talk very well,
and the specs are no longer a problem for me,
as time goes on, more questions came to me,
but that also means that the more things i learnt....
so i would say even the pay is little but i would say no regrets......

p/s: the salary will only be given to us around 2 weeks later and commission will be given around 1 month later. =.="

Time to get back onto the right track....

Finally, it's vacation time!!!
Well, my vacation had started one week ago....
and, shooo~~~~ there goes my first semester in NP.
Currently is not that worry about my results,
it's not because i am very confident,
but it's because the release of exam results are still 2 weeks away....

Now, one thing i must and must confess is.....
i haven't been to gym for the past 3 or 4 weeks.....
and that makes my abs divorced with me,
my chest muscle shrunk,
everything looks so awful now....
even though the shape is still there,
but somehow it's not my best figure....
Beng Lin had finish another tub of protein,
Bertrand also pushing very hard,
i used to be the strongest bench-press man,
but i doubt am i still the one....
Okay, i think i will need to start to go back to gym as soon as possible,
maybe this evening? Sure~~~
By the way, i had asked Bert to help me order 2 big tub of Optimum Protein supplement,
once the protein is here,
i will straight head back to gym again in the highest frequency ever..... phew*

1 week of holiday past, what have i done?
Alright, i had finish a huge amount, i mean really huge amount of junk food,
sleeping..... Dota-ing, and watching The Big Bang Theory.....
But don't worry, i had found myself a job.... actually is two....
this Saturday i will be working in the IT fair in Suntec City,
selling Dell laptop under Newstead...
after that, i will be working under another HR for "unspecified jobs"....LOL
The pay? Oh come on.... i am don't care about the pay.... i am just try to kill my time....crap!!!
The pay.... is ok lah..... Not as high as many other jobs....
but i like to do sales.... but NOT DIRECT SALES OR MULTI LAYER MARKETING SALES!!!!
I hate that..... even though a lot of aunties including my dear mother likes a lot.....
Why do i like to do sales?
Because i was thinking, is there any other better to make full use of my talkative mouth besides use it to "kill" people as what i did for years,
eventually, i found the word, sales.....
yeah! it's my thing.....
Oh ya, currently i am also reading a novel,
The Thieves of Faith....
It's a very nice and complicated story which i think is pretty nice,
i will read it whenever i am on the bus or MRT......

2 days ago, i receive a good news from my "sponsor"....
He will be coming down to SGP this thursday to transfer the fund for me!!!
What makes me so excited is.... he even agree to help about the initial deposits!!!!
Hooray!!!
I had also went to OCBC Securities yesterday to open an trading account under Young Investor Pack.
However, when i am doing my proposal and analysis,
it's killing me!!!
And when i am now planning when to load in the stocks,
it's killing me as well!!!!
Alright, now i know it's not EASY to trade in STOCK MARKET!!!!
At least i get to know that now.....
i would say i know pretty much about financial services and financial assets,
like stocks, bonds, derivatives, buy forward future, commodities etc,
but all these are theory,
i am still can't decide the best price to load in,
even though i have my own analysis,
now i know why traders are so rich.....
Never mind, i will be one of them one day.....
